The B&B stands in nearly 3 acres and the gate leads to the bridleway of Rutland Water.
Impressive security wrought iron gates supported by stone pillars are at the entrance to this attractive Victorian honey coloured stone, former coach house on the edge of Rutland Water.
A small stone fountain of a boy holding a fish, encircled by a low stone wall and a gravel drive greet the visitor in the Spring with snowdrops, crocus, scillas and aconites. A path encourages the guest to explore the garden past flower beds and croquet lawn, to the paddock where the sight of Rutland Water and Normanton Church is revealed.
ABOUT YOUR HOST
Cecilie is the widow of Group Captain Tony Ingoldby whose career included flying Vulcans and whilst working in England and overseas the family would join him. They loved entertaining many people throughout their marriage and Cecilie continues to do so. She enjoys developing her garden where generous chickens roam and provide eggs for breakfast.
Old Hall Coach House is a no smoking house.

One can sail, windsurf, enjoy a trip on a boat, walk, cycle, horse ride, marry, play golf, pick strawberries, watch birds, visit gardens, shop, buy antiques, eat, visit churches and cathedrals, listen to opera, watch Shakespearean plays, visit stately homes, fish for trout, ride on steam trains or just sit in my garden!
